It has been confirmed on many websites that the reason Beth Phoenix has been taken off of television is that her and her husband, Joey Knight, are expecting a child.
She has apparently been given a year off for this reason but she is expected to be out a year and a half, at least according to several websites so take that for what it might (or might not) be worth.
It will be interesting to see what happens when (and if?) she makes her return.

Congrats to Beth and her husband.
Sadly I feel that when she returns, she won't get much of a push. I can't see WWE releasing her while she is on her break having her baby but sortly after she returns, I wouldn't be surprised.

ReplyDeleteBeth Phoenix has been getting a solid push for a year or two now, whenever she joined. She's not that strong, or that solid as WWE push her. She doesn't have a personality, most people are distracted from Santino's awesome work to notice! But she's been marketed especially well. Congrats to her and hopefully WWE don't fire her while pregnant, the bunch of Carnys!
